Autumn/Fall Work Outfits for the Office

Just because you work in an office, it doesn't mean you can't be stylish and show your personality in subtle ways!

Now that Autumn/Fall is arriving, it's time to start thinking of ways to keep warm without looking and feeling too bulky. Also, a shift to darker and more autumnal colours (orange, brown, burgundy, green, etc) is a great way to keep in tune with nature as it starts to change.

This post will feature TEN different outfits from ASOS, H&M, Zara and Topshop. They'll range from formal to casual and I'll provide links & prices to all the items shown. Enjoy!

This look may be a bit daunting at first as it's very bold and makes a statement. But it's a great outfit that can transition from your office hours into the evening for a date or dinner. It's a bit flirty with the off-the-shoulder blazer and shoes screams confidence with some bright red pumps.

As a more cosy yet still chic outfit, this look keeps it simple with a soft striped jumper which ties in it's navy accents with the trousers and watch. I decided to add in a nice long brown coat as well for when it's a bit colder, but still keeping it simple and chic in it's shape.

With this look, I'd tuck in the shirt to the trousers in order to really make the braces shine as a subtle statement. The coat and bag match in a great autumnal burgundy colour and just add more interest and colour to the look.

This look is effortlessly chic. As a one-piece, this jumpsuit is easy to style and throw on in the morning without any hassle. I kept it simple with some nice strappy shoes and pearl earrings, then added this really cool handbag that can also be worn as a backpack! This jumpsuit should also keep you pretty warm with it's long sleeves, so not much need for a coat until it gets closer to winter.

Stepping outside the formal box a little with this one, I've gone for a much more casual and laid-back style. Sticking to the autumnal colour scheme, I've opted for a burgundy jumper under this pretty bright orange waistcoat. Adding some edge and style, I decided on some skinny leather trousers, mule & crocodile-pattern handbag. To finish it off I added a cute and always stylish black beret.

Another super casual and slouchy outfit, this look is easy to throw on and will be really comfy for a day in the office. Although it's not in a very autumnal colour, I added this bag for a pop of colour and to lighten up this dark outfit.

This outfit is probably my favourite of these ten. I love the bold mix of floral patterns and how feminine it is; the heels are also pretty low so will stay comfy for longer. This bright almost orange-brown bag ties in well with the similar colours in both the shirt and jumpsuit as well as being big enough to fit all your work inside if you're taking any home. I also threw in this mac-style coat which is always a classic, ties in with the colours of the rest of the outfit, and also has an "awesome" motif on the back!

Another chic and stylish outfit, this outfit makes a statement in subtle ways. The check trousers have threads of orange and looks great paired with this orange jumper with ruffle detail. The long grey jacket keeps it looking chic and effortless, while pairing it with these boots matches the colours nicely and adds some interest in the wooden heel texture. Finally, I opted for some chic leather gloves and a stone coloured bag to tie-in to the rest of the outfit.

This look is cute and a bit more playful. This cropped style of jumpsuit can easily transition from your summer wardrobe into the autumn. I styled it with this subtly-textured blazer, patchwork bag and some great leather boots with a gold heel.

Finally, again this outfit is pretty laid back and comfortable, great for the end of the week when you're feeling tired and ready for the weekend to come! I chose this simple black turtleneck to tuck into this summer-autumn floral skirt; paired with the flat mules and cosy fur-trimmed coat, it'll provide comfort all day long and you can easily throw on this backpack if you have some heavy items to take to and from work.
