Autumnal Kids Fashion: Girls

I love fashion for kids as it can take a long time to develop your style, so letting your kids pick certain pieces and styling them well will encourage them creatively as well as helping them develop their personality at an earlier age.

In this post I'll be featuring 15 outfits for young girls to wear that are stylish and fun, easy to run around in and perfect for the autumn time!

H&M

1. This autumnal colour-block jumper is super cute and will keep your child warm even without a coat. These treggings add some edge to the look with the leather panels, while still being comfortable and easy to move in. Finally, I've finished this look with some low-heeled ankle boots in black and a padded parka with fur trim if the temperature drops.

Jumper £14.99 - Treggings £9.99 - Boots £19.99 - Coat £29.99

2. A turtleneck is a sleek and simple piece that is a perfect for the colder months. Here I've layered it under some long denim dungarees. A comfy pair of ankle boots is great as this look is perfect for a bit of rough and tumble. I accessorised with a plaid shirt to wrap around the waist for some extra style and warmth to layer when there's a chill.

3. This girly look is perfect for going to a party or just to dress up during the day! This white frilly top compliments these sequin-detailed trousers and create a cute and feminine look; added to by this faux fur coat that's pretty and provides a lot of warmth. To finish the look I chose these floral trainers for a bit of colour and to tie-in with the white top, and this gold headband for some extra flair and detail.

Top £9.99 - Trousers £14.99 - Coat £24.99 - Trainers £14.99 - Headband £2.99

4. A turtleneck tucked into a short denim skirt is a classic and always cute look. Paired with this faux suede jacket and studded trainers, this outfit becomes a bit more edgy and cool. I added a pair of thick ribbed tights to keep the legs shielded from the cool autumn breeze.

Turtleneck £6.99 - Skirt £14.99 - Jacket £19.99 - Tights £9.99 - Trainers £17.99

5. This jersey top is perfect for this season as Halloween approaches. It matches great with these leather-detailed treggings and buckled boots and this khaki parka adds some more colour and warmth to the look. I'd also layer this plaid shirt as its pattern is perfect for autumnal looks and the red ties-in with the stars on the top.

Top £5.99 - Treggings £9.99 - Boots £19.99 - Shirt £9.99 - Coat £29.99

6. Mixing textures always adds interest and flair to outfits, so here I've paired some differently textured items together to create and interesting look without them being too overbearing. This quilted bomber jacket is cool and casual, so I layered it over a white graphic tee and skinny biker jeans. I added these glittery trainers for some extra flair and a feminine touch, then finished the look with this velvet choker with skull pendant, perfect for autumn.

Jacket £19.99 - Top £7.99 - Jeans £19.99 - Trainers £9.99 - Choker £2.99

7. This comfy and simple look would be great for jumping in puddles and piles of leaves, running around, and having fun. This knitted cardigan and leather jacket combo will shield from the cold and the dress with tights will allow for more flexibility and less restriction in movement. Finally these boots will help to keep the legs warmer and are great for running a muck outside at the park.

8. Animal print is a great statement during the colder months and kids clothes often hold a wide variety of different options. Here I've chosen some snow leopard leggings to go under a slouchy denim shirt and fur-trimmed leather jacket, as well as some panda mittens and leather ankle boots to finish the look - a very cute and playful outfit for the autumn.

Jacket £29.99 - Shirt £14.99 - Leggings £5.99 - Boots £17.99 - Mittens £5.99

RIVER ISLAND

9. I love the kind of 70s vibe this dress and turtleneck set has. It's super cute and would look great with these burgundy tights (also coming in a set with navy ones) and slightly heeled jelly shoes. I layered over this long coat with huge faux fur trim for some added glamour and warmth.

Top & Dress Set £20 - Jacket £45 - Tights £3 - Shoes £12

10. This cool outfit is perfect for a kid wanting to try something cool and new with their fashion. A t-shirt dress is always a casual and cool piece and this colour-block one with rectangle pattern is a statement. This mesh bomber jacket compliments that pattern but won't necessarily provide much warmth, so layering a long-sleeved turtleneck under the dress would be a good option; still being able to see the texture of the jacket while keeping the arms warm. Finally, I chose a burgundy cap that keeps the look cool and ties-in with the red on the dress, and then added black tights for warmth and chunky ankle boots to finish the look.

Dress £15 - Jacket £20 - Cap £8 - Tights £6 - Boots £25

11. A camo bomber jacket is great for this season as its pattern is a very natural and autumnal green, but this one has an extra flair with sequins all over. The combo of these high waisted leggings and pearl/cutout detailed knit top is very chic and would look great paired with these almost snakeskin patterned slip-ons.

Jacket £45 - Top £18 - Leggings £10 - Shoes £14

12. Similar to the first River Island look, this top and dress set has psychedelic vibes and is always a cute silhouette. I added these coloured tights again, but would opt for the navy in this case, to tie-in with the dress. I then decided on a more neutral colour palette for the rest of the outfit, with this waterfall coat with detachable faux fur trim and snake print ankle boots.

Top & Dress Set £18 - Coat £45 - Tights £3 - Boots £25

13. This dress is cute and interesting with it's mesh panelling and autumnal-themed floral print. I added a pretty and floaty lightweight bomber jacket that would look best open or topped with a faux fur collar. Lastly I added some black tights and knee high boots to retain some warmth in the look.

Dress £30 - Jacket £20 - Tights £6 - Boots £28

14. This is a more alternative yet still feminine look featuring a staple autumnal colour: burgundy. I love the skull and roses graphic on this tee as it is a pretty yet edgy design, and it pairs perfectly with this bomber jacket that matches in colour and has a metallic thread detail. I added these jeans with ripped detailing to add to the theme of the outfit and to keep the scheme light, then completed the look with these heeled boots with interesting buckle detail and furry trim for added warmth and comfort.

Top £10 - Jacket £18 - Jeans £18 - Boots £28

15. This outfit is comfortable and fashionable with it's ripped jeans and leopard print shirt. I added a nice, warm and long bomber jacket to keep it warm and suit the length of the top, then chose some stylish and edgy black buckled ankle boots.

Jacket £35 - Shirt £16 - Jeans £22 - Boots £25
