Petite Babe

If you're a short-arse like me (5ft!), then you'll know the struggle of finding clothes that fit your little body! But a lot more places are selling 'petite' ranges, and here are some outfits put together from Miss Selfridge's selection.

This frilly blouse is feminine and cute, perfectly complimented with this sweet a-line mini skirt and bow heels with gold accents. Finally, I chose some pearl rings with multiple metals for some added interest.

Top £28 - Skirt £28 - Heels £45 - Rings £2

A blouse with a pencil skirt is a classically sophisticated look, and suits all body shapes. I like the simple floral pattern on this top and it's flattering shape, and chose this pink, figure-hugging skirt with glitter ribbing to add some flair to the outfit. Lastly, I chose this rose gold metallic sandals with jewels to add more glamour to the look, along with this elegant and dainty rhinestone bracelet.

Top £28 - Skirt £8 - Shoes £55 - Bracelet £7.50

Sheer panels are super sexy and especially when it comes to bodysuits and other tops. To go for a more urban look and stick with the sexy vibe, I chose a pair of black ripped jeans, slinky stiletto heels, and a chunky gold chain bracelet.

Bodysuit £18 - Jeans £32 - Shoes £22 - Bracelet £6.50

The Bardot neckline on this dress is also very sexy, but in a more subtle and sultry way than the bodysuit above. This dress would be great for any formal events or dates and I've chosen nude-coloured pieces to wear with it to keep the look simple, feminine, and to let your natural beauty do the talking.

Dress £35 - Shoes £17 - Earrings £2 - Ring £1.50

For a girly and youthful look, I chose this light pink, soft jumper with lattice sleeve and button-up denim skirt. Then, for comfort and practicality, I picked some white trainers with rose gold detailing and a simple but fun backpack to keep all your stuff easily packed away.

Jumper £35 - Skirt £8 - Trainers £22 - Backpack £32

This monochrome, turtleneck dress really reminds me of the 1960s style - flirty and fun. This sequin and feather clutch adds to this vibe, and then these ankle boots and headband continue to harken back to that decade.

Dress £35 - Boots £34.30 - Headband £2 - Clutch £14

A simple but stylish look is a shirt and leather-look trousers. This grey striped shirt has bow detailing on the back for some added interest and a girly twist, but these leather-look trousers, silver heeled boots and fedora keep it cool.

Shirt £35 - Trousers £36 - Boots £31.50 - Hat £8

Playsuits are a great way to be girly without worrying about flashing your panties! Lace can be super feminine and this floral pattern certainly is. I chose some over-the-knee boots because I'm loving them right now, and two other things I've been loving lately - earcuffs and a choker!

Playsuit £49 - Boots £59 - Earcuffs £8.50 - Choker £6

Although not everywhere has a petite range or a wide range of stuff in their petite selection, this part of the fashion industry is growing (no pun intended...), so hopefully there will be a lot more to choose from in the future!
